Today, I got a new upstairs neighbor, a fucking breeder with three brats and a screeching newborn. They’ve barely started moving in their shit and I can hear the howls already. It’s not fair to put them in upstairs apartments above people just trying to enjoy some peace and quiet. FML

Today, I met my new upstairs neighbors. They have a four-month-old child and appear to be firm believers in the "let them cry it out" philosophy. The baby's room is right above mine. A few days of trying to sleep through this shit and I'll look like a Walking Dead extra. FML

Today, I was given an ultimatum; either get rid of my beloved dog who’s my literal only source of happiness, or find a new place to live (which I can’t afford). Today, my downstairs neighbours screamed at me for making so much noise that I woke their children up and made them cry. The noise was the sound of a loose floorboard shifting as I crept to my bathroom, and again on my way back to bed. They've sworn to get me evicted. FML

Today, I live in an apartment and all I can hear is my neighbours' bratty kids screaming with their new toys. Not only do I hate kids, making this absolute torture, I also work nights and only fell into bed at 6 a.m. this morning, so that’s 4 hours trying to sleep so far and I’m back at work in 5 hours. FML

In this day and age, especially in the US, police would arrest you and put you in a 5x7’ cell for that. At least now that homelessness is criminalized. It is here in Nebraska and they love enforcing it. This country has made living in tents illegal

Wow, all the people saying YDI obviously have never had to endure the chaos that comes with out of control noisy kids and enabling parents. These days, people slap a screen in front of a kid's face and call it parenting. There is no discipline, no respect, and certainly no empathy for others. I realize kids will be kids, but parents need to be parents, and it sounds like this woman isn't being one. In my area, there are ton of "breeders" as OP called them. Seriously, they keep having kids just to get more welfare money. It's sad but it's true.
